"Electrically sensitive"? This reminds me of the people that claimed to become extraordinarily affected by the proliferation of minute toxins back in the late 80's and into the 90's (ie, the Bubble Man from Northern Exposure).
At the turn of the last century, illnesses were blamed on a lack of sunlight and country air. Technology and progress were bad for one's health. While there is indeed a certain risk from pollution - from microtoxins, or from electromagnetic fields, there comes a point where some people are simply being hypochondriacs.
