  1. Well I guess I am just one of the exception on Wanted: Female Game Testers · · Score: 1

I love to play computer games, I play Quake2, Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo II, Diablo, Sim City, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Monoply, Unreal Tournament, Wolfenstine, and plenty more. I must tell you that I am a 23 year old Female. I don't think that it is all females that don't want to play just some of us don't say anything that we are female. People asume that we are males. I have been asked a number of times if I am really a girl. So we are out there even though there are just a few of us as people say.

  2. Re:Pick your partner more carefully? on Living the Computer Geek Lifestyle w/ a Significant Other? · · Score: 1

I happen to be a computer geek myself. I am a 23 year old female who lives in VA. I am a network administrator for the library which is a city job. I love playing computer games and I even have a computer in my room. I don't agree with you when you say all women are trouble because not all of are trouble. I met a guy on the internet 3 1/2 years ago and moved to VA to be with him. Well this year he decided he needed his space so I am on my own. But do you know this whole thing can work both ways. Guys can be difficult too. Yes he loves computers to but just because he and I love computers doesn't mean that we can be together forever. I found this out the hard way. So I don't think that it is all the womans fault by any means. If anyone would like to talk to me just drop me an email I am sure to respond.

  3. Moving to Linux in the Near Future on Large Scale Deployment of Linux for File/Print Services? · · Score: 2, Redundant

I am the Network Coordinator for my company. When I first started working here my boss was very commited to Windows. But now that he has seen everything that has been going on with Microsoft. He is starting to listen to me about Linux. We are currently getting ready to place a print server that will allow three machine printing access. We are also looking into a new mail server. And we have a new Webserver that is linux. I am very pleased that my boss has decided to let me use linux in the office. For 2 reasons: 1. it is very stable and it doesn't require a lot of maintances. 2. it is very secure That's my 2 cents
