Flamebait? Another way the clueless mod the intelligent. In the above context the "stupid" are those who whatever reason haven't gotten the fact that analog is going away. Hysteria ensues and it becomes a "tax" on the intelligent as we now have to wait.
Exactly but who benefits? Lawyers because they will have to be represented. In fact, lawyers are why we have letter-of-the-law indictments in the first place. All the more reason judges should simply nullify such cases when they hit their desk. "Sorry, this case is bullshit. Next?"
Our system is called the "Criminal Justice System." Where is there any "justice" in this case? I blame judges. The judge should simply throw the case out, period. "As a judge it is my duty to see where justice can be served. I feel there is no better result for the public than for prosecutors to learn the lesson that our system always prosecute with an eye towards justice. Maybe throwing this pathetic case out will help them learn this lesson or at the least encourage the public to demand prosecutors who do so!"
Oh I doubt that. Once they enter the courtroom it really comes down to whether that preceding can be re-broadcast. The litigants are in open court and thus are not subject to privacy in this regard. It's just like taking a photo at a park. You don't have to get a release from everyone involved. IANAL either but I'd venture this is the case.
That's great news! Let some other poor saps pay for this drivel. The good thing is they have to buy shit and eat shit so the economy will at least benefit somehow. This is brainpower that could be solving a real problem.
What are the odds the US Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is federally funded? Let's hope the economy will soon cut funds for wastes of time like this.
I liked my Centro and full keyboard but after using my iPod Touch and my Instinct phone I just don't want a physical keyboard on my phone anymore. It's just going to add bulk.
I'm with ya for the most part. However making a plant green costs money. Equipment has to be purchased for dealing with waste etc. The market will bear out if that product is viable and at what price. New Belgium Brewery is one of the greenest plants and is head and shoulders above most breweries. They product is sold at a very competitive price too so it can be done.
Federal funding of universities needs to be cut. Many are hording large pools of cash and yet keep increasing student tuition. Couple that with profiting off of their students ideas and frankly we shouldn't continue to pour tax money into these entities. The time has come to start auditing schools and supplementing funding based on need.
Okay so Mytob shuts down a hospital. Frankly, hospitals and other public health entities shouldn't be running Windows. It's vulnerable and proven so time and again. Had they been on any *NIX-based system the spread of such a worm would have been mitigated.
I know, a tired old point but I'm frankly sick of hearing about government entities and public works entities being brought down because they've bought into the Windows-everywhere philosophy.
See mirroring is like...well a mirror. If you stand before one and stick a fork in your eye your mirror-image does the same. In real time. Analogies are there for a reason.
In short:
"I'm afraid we're going to have to evolve a little further before we can understand how we evolved to this point. Unfortunately, we'll be beyond this point by then and busy lamenting this same fact regarding THAT point."
It was bad enough that we couldn't have an obviously NON-political thread that didn't mention someone's personal loathing of Bush now we're going to have 4 years of latent, homo-erotic references to Obama in threads about..oh I dunno, patent trolls!?
"Almost all noncitizens will be required to provide digital fingerprints and a photograph upon entry into the United States as of Jan. 18."
I have no problem with doing this to non-citizens. I realize this will result in extrapolations into citizens, killing children, torturing puppies and the like but I'm saying tracking non-citizens is just common sense.

Their immortal souls...the usual.
Because they were delivered with cookies like all packages from the dark side!

I dunno. Either start killing them or live with it. Wait, do you run a phishing scam or something?
And on the other end of the line we hear, "DRAT! I'll get you, Linus! And your little kernel TOO!"

Wow! Source? Haven't seen anything like that. Not that it matters. Both are ex-presidents, essentially.

It better hurry! Only 8 more days to blame it on Bush! :p
I know, I know...troll / flaimbait but not funny. *sigh*

Actually, your mirror image don't fork it's eye on _realtime_, even light have a speed, you know.
Well played...well played! :p
Exactly. "Technical incompetence or ingnorance about security. We're not sure which." Okay so which makes you look better?
