    "Negative....it deflected off the surface"

Well, it looked pretty good for about 10 minutes after I posted this. It's back to the PayPal is up and crawling....

It's amazing to me how much an outage of this size is impacting a lot of online businesses. Everything from donating to your favorite web comic to the people who depend on Ebay for their daily bread.

I thought this was a DOS attack myself yesterday, but Reuters says coding problem. Even now at 1.27pm CST, PayPal is up, but really really slow.

Actually....looks like the Internet will be saved. ;) PayPal got it's zip back. :)

Oh, Balderdash.... the reason there is "no" film industry in Hong Kong anymore (somebody better tell Jackie Chan because he has been deluding themselves all these years.) Most countries have been dwarfed by Hollywood's marketing machine...it has been even suggested that they might be brainwashing Anonymous Cowards into thinking that Tinsel Town is on the endangered species list. Just think the next time you see a star doing a charity function from their limo; it might be for their own benefit.
Yes...I will imagine...I will imagine of a Hollywood that will think twice before funding another Mariah Carey picture...

High Heat Baseball, Civilization II, Tom Clancy's Politika, Command &Conquer Red Alert II, Age of Kings II, and Baldurs Gate II as well. I would go one step further and get the computer teachers involved and offer extra credit or courses that focus on creating new scenarios or levels.
I have to say I'm really impressed with your district's think outside said box approach toward learning.

  5. Which reviewers? When did all this happen? on L.A. Times on Game Reviewer 'Playola' · · Score: 1

How come Alex Pham can get off questioning the ethics on game reviewer's field trips and not name any names? He quotes one writer, but spends most of his time talking with company marketing monkeys and academic "ethics experts."
Besides Payola refers to the paying off of radio disc jockeys to play more of an their music. Does this mean with all the attention the unnamed reviewers are getting, they get more than one review? And when did these "field trips" take place? Since this soft tech economy, most big corps cut way back on their "payola payable" accounts. Did this person even go to last year's E3 where it was easier to get a parking space than a free tee shirt?
I have a feeling Alex's computer has white out stains and a broken coffee stained CD-ROM.

I love this series. Where is this PBS station located?
