I personnally think Struts makes things harder. I haven't gotten into it a lot, but it seems to take me a whole lot longer to get a project done with struts than if I just used scriplet code. The only reason I use it is because I have to, I sure wouldn't us it if I had a choice.
It's limiting in what you can do, and the ways you can do it, there was little to no documentation (until now I suppose), and it's just confusing.
I'll admit that I'm a novice JAVA programmer, but seriously, why use a tool that makes things more difficult.
It's just a tool to use until the next big thing is pushed out by a group of programmers with too much time on their hands.
As mentioned in your FAQ, if someone hogs too much bandwidth, you'll charge that user for the bandwidth they use. What do you do in the case of complaints against a user for spam, pornography, or other less than desirable uses? Since it's a co-op and the costs are shared, what about the responsibility? What if the ISP was targeted as a spam host or if one of the people under your ISP was serving illegal MP3s or something more sinister like child pornography? Does the entire Co-op suffer or are you able to target and remove the offending person (and avoid any legal costs that might be brought against the ISP)?
Even though most of these people are too busy telling you why you shouldn't use Flash, chances are: 1) they're not in web development, 2) they're not doing the project, and 3) they're not even answering your question.
There aren't any free tools that can do what flash can do. There are a large number of 'plugins' that allow you to manipulate a flash movie from asp, php, etc, but to actually author the good stuff, you have to shell out the money.
There are similar products to flash out there though, so you may want to keep that in mind.

While this may be an end to some conventional wars, I think the ultimate end cost will be the loss of more human life than conventional wars
Nuclear weapons are turning up everywhere. Your drones attack my drones, we lose some, no big deal, our infrastructure and people are undamaged. Well, there isn't a better way to damage your infrastructure than to drop a nuclear warhead on your cities from accross the world.
At least with people conflicts, you could tell who was winning or losing without resorting to mass destruction.

Who is the supposed to appeal to? I personally wouldn't use it with a 10 minute commute, even with a 30 minute commute, I can't justify $10/month for the radio.
Also, do you think this will appeal to the soccer moms of america? or the older population? Too technical maybe or just not worth it?
He said "are more than 200 million registered vehicles in the United States" but to reach their number they still need 4.5 million of those? Are there 4.5 million people ready to chuck out $10/month with the uncertainty of the economy?
I hope they do well, but I personally think they're about a year too late. A year ago, everyone wanted a new gadget, now, I don't think thats the case...
