Speaking as a Brit, to get insurance anyway you have to give information on any history of heart disease/diabetes in your family anyway. This is only slightly different.

They've come out top in an industry accepted benchmarking suite, and Oracle are saying that this is the only application where SQL Server can outperform Oracle. If the TPC benchmarks really are that unrealistic, why does anyone (MS, Oracle, IBM, whoever) care about them?

Out of your examples Italy is the only country that has a coalition government that changes all of the time. And the world doesn't look to the US for stability. Please give one example of US imperialism which has actually stabalised anywhere in the world.
