You need to come to grips with reality. Trump doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about me. He doesn't care about other people, other than (perhaps) his immediate family circle. He cares about money, power, and being worshiped. If he can make money by letting the drone makers occasionally take down a plane, he will.
Accessibility is really unimportant... until someone you know and love is dealing with BS solely because they can't see. Then it becomes CRITICAL.
Just to give you an idea... my GFs blind daughter goes to movies with us. Because they now have "descriptive audio" where she can wear headphones that play an audio track that describes what's going on. "Movies for blind people" sounds like a really stupid PC idea, UNTIL YOU SEE IT IN ACTION. That it makes perfect sense.
Your thinking is what is so bizarre about today's political climate. A variety of US intelligence services, in the course of monitoring Russian agents who often are part of recruiting US citizens, noticed a high level of contact between high level trump campaign people and these agents. It's become clear that there was an intense effort by the Russians to get trump elected, and that's part of an ongoing effort to influence and ultimately control US elections.
Let that sink in. A hostile foreign power wants to decide who is running the US government. However bad you think the USA is today, it would be a crap ton worse with Putin running it, and elections being utterly meaningless.
And with all that, with the fate of our democracy at stake, people are worried that some of trump's buddies who were busy talking to these Russian had their names revealed... again, NOT because THEY were being monitored, but because the RUSSIAN AGENTS they were talking to were monitored.
Congratulations, you've managed to focus on the mote, and ignore the tidal wave bearing down on you. People like you are why our democracy is in such trouble right now.
Republicans who were communicating with Russians who were being monitored had their conversations picked up. There was no "active wire tapping and spying on a republic candidate for president". None. Zero. Claiming that is like getting busted at a sweep of a whorehouse and then whining that "they" are out to get you.
So the problem is that your friends are using a system that you don't like? YOU should be the dictator of the Internet, telling people what they can and can't use?
Why do you think anyone "trusts" Facebook? Is anyone posting their secret Swiss bank account numbers there? Just what super-secret info is anyone trusting FB with?
Yes, Mr. "I'm so much smarter than everyone else", I should use some platform no one else uses to post the occasional picture or interesting tidbit of information.
Yeah, it used to be like that. "Sorry, you're black, you can't use the toilet, there's one 50 miles down the road, bye". Fortunately we've come a long way since then. Not far enough, but even with agent orange in charge, let's try not to roll back too far.
I generally rely on a mix of NPR, CNN & NY Times, but I actually go to Fox just to see their slant on the news. It can be pretty amazing... headline stories on the other sources literally don't exist on Fox. I read an interesting article that said that Fox had perfected altering the news cycle:
1) bad story comes out on trump 2) Fox instantly headlines some conspiracy theory (like about the murdered Clinton aide) to divert attention, and buries the real story. 3) To close the loop, Fox claims that the bad news about Trump is the "fake news" that's being used to divert attention from the "real story" that was hatched on some conspiracy website.
Sadly, JS is far, far worse than Visual Basic... at least VB 6, which I programmed in many years ago. That language actually let you build reasonably structured programs, despite having the "VB" moniker. JS is just an invitation to disaster.
So discriminating against women is only bad because it's somehow not politically "correct"? I assume that discriminating against non-whites is also not an issue, right?
I hear the 1950's calling, why don't you go back there.
To go a little further on this... one of the phrases I ran into was something like "that Steph Curry really knows how to dodge the ball". It was something that absolutely no one would ever say. It wasn't a slight twisting of a reasonable phrase (like Garo Ypremian's "I kick the touchdown!"), it was someone trying to sound American, and failing badly.
I see no reason to doubt that Russia is conducting a campaign to disrupt the democracies. It makes perfect sense, and it's pretty clever, turning a strength (openness and free speech) into a weakness. And it's not the kind of thing we can turn around on Russia because of the tight state control of the media.
When I used C++ I found it to be an interesting but ultimately failed experiment in layering OO on top of C. The end result was that the traps of C (invalid pointers etc) were still there, but now hidden under layers so that they were harder to detect / fix. For example, adding an element to one of the STL container classes could cause a reallocate, rendering any "references" that you had into that container invalid. So unlike OO languages that truly have references that don't magically become invalid, C++ has all the problems of C, except that it's far more obscure.
Yes, of course, making sure people have health insurance, having environmental regulations, that's all evil, wouldn't want to vote for that, would you?
Actually, it's obvious that Russia (or some country, but let's assume Russia) is conducting such a campaign. Just look at the post of Fox News, for example. You'll run into posts that sound like they were supposed to be written by an American, but have phrases that no American would ever write. It's pretty clear sometimes that you are dealing with someone who didn't get the top grade in the Russian info-war school.
All the "people who pirate more buy more" statistic shows is that some people are more driven to consume more media. There's no indication that if people were unable to pirate that they'd buy less media. Or that pirating causing people to become greater consumers.

Act like an adult and face the truth.
Depends on whether the drone makers or the airplane makers are willing to pay trump more.

In other words, expand your horizons a little.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

What are you trying to "win"? If you don't like FB, don't use it. You are still free.
So the problem is that your friends are using a system that you don't like? YOU should be the dictator of the Internet, telling people what they can and can't use?
So the problem is that lots of people use a service that you don't use? That sounds like that's YOUR problem. Not theirs.
Why do you think anyone "trusts" Facebook? Is anyone posting their secret Swiss bank account numbers there? Just what super-secret info is anyone trusting FB with?
Really? Give me an example.
Yes, Mr. "I'm so much smarter than everyone else", I should use some platform no one else uses to post the occasional picture or interesting tidbit of information.
That's dumb.
Or you could be a complete a-hole jerk who advocates shooting your opponent, and you could get elected President.

Man, those women who get pregnant for 2 years must be pretty pissed off.
I'll make it easy for you: http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/vector/vector/insert/
Wrong, and wrong.
Try reading the STL container documentation.

No they do not. They want EFFECTIVE systems. If you can demonstrate an open source perfectly effective system, they'd jump on it.
