    Same here.

    I personally listen to NewsRadio (webcast availiable) down here (Australia) which tends to break news a long time before you hear it on the web or TV. They also offload to the BBC and .....NPR some times. I especially like the science programs at 11pm Sat and Sunday nights.

    And I hate music over radio too. I can't stand it.

    Well, suing a ISP might be the only line of defense here, as we are lucky enough to not have any DMCA sh*t.

    However, a few music piracy sites have been shutdown by the police here.

    I'm an occasional mod too, but I mod on the stregth of the argument/point/whatever, not what people say in comments about that comment. (in other words: I mod as if the comment was 'standalone')

    Well, it depends.

    I was impressed when I switched over from Linux 2.4 to 2.6. So I haven't used a 2.4 kernel since.

    Is 2.6 considered stable? no. All the crashes I've had with 2.6 are to do with one thing: Inadequate cooling.

    The reason why he probably used a tech preview is that the performance might of been better compared to 4.8.

    So, both parties in Linux v FreeBSD are equal. Both were tested against unstable branches. (Linux 2.4 is the exception).

    Personally, I don't bother with stable branches. I've almost never had any problems with development-version software.

    To mods: I consider it rude to moderate down on your own personal opinion.

    Noo..... I still want my XPFE.

    I swear that if mozilla.org stops distributing XPFE binaries off the trunk, I'll compile it myself until it breaks. I actually appreciate the "swiss army knife approach" that we have seen since Netcape.

    Yes, Firebird is great, but the functionality of the XPFE app suite leaves FB in the dust in my opinion.

    9. 1 80mm fan + Blue Cold Cathdote
    10. GeForce4 Ti 4200 w/AGP 8x.
    11. Another 80mm fan + Green Cold Cathdote
    12. Case, which I bought on Sunday. My old one wouldn't fit my mobo because of the CD holder.

    No FDD, because I must of fried it by way of inserting power plug wrong way.

    But Credit Cards down here are dangerous. Everybody is racking up debt and more debt.

    I feel sorry for you.

    I live in Australia here and a few years back, someone at a Magazine Subscriptions Department got hold of my Dads credit card number and used it. My Dad eventually went to court over it and only uses his credit card upfront now. If anyone needs to mail-order something, do it by cheque.

    This is why we have paper shredders.

    Not to mention the fact that ATI didn't have antialiasing on Linux until recently. NVIDIA's FSAA implementation under Linux is quite good as is. I don't see the need to give a crap about a few pixels difference.

    For those who don't know, look up:
