Using LinkedIn or any similar tool requires real-life skills at networking. If you're bad at networking with live humans, you'll probably be bad at networking with LinkedIn. (I am bad at networking, and it's not LinkedIn's fault.)

  2. This response illustrates why the language needs to change.

  3. It would just be cool for humans to stop being assholes to each other. Slavery still exists in the world. It's not Python's job to end slavery, but kindness and mindfulness aren't difficult.

  4. No, it hasn't. The master-slave analogy is derived directly from human slavery. If that's best Python's developers and technical writers can come up with, find different developers and writers. It's an asinine thing to argue about at this point in our evolution. Dump the terms.

Let's Encrypt is easy but not too easy. It benefits Google, Amazon, and others to make it harder for individuals to host their own services. Do all use cases require encryption? No, they do not.

    Millimeters? Device dependence much?

  10. I've logged in just to emphasize the cowardess of you post. Companies don't own people, and rather than defend an employee from a community member, the company opted to make fools of themselves. Very poorly done.
