I second that. I just finished a foreign language subject where we used inspiration and it somehow just works, and doesn't get in the way of learning. It was a great basis for our advanced level learning studies.
Although chat is becoming today's phone, definitely hope they redirect themselves to something more beneficial. But don't push.
If they learn a foreign language, encourage them somehow to find chat partners in that language and thus kill two birds with one stone.
If they spent all day blogging, they might, over time, turn into a talented writer or something. Or get an interest in writing. Or learn to spell. Maybe.
Because she is a musician and an actress in Hollywood movies (some taxi movie). The Windows media devices demonstrated at the launch (where the picture was taken) could play her movies, as well as her songs.
The iPod can't do movies. It was a good differentiation.
I just did the Helsinki marathon on Saturday and rented an arm-mounted GPS tracking device from FRWD. I should get the data back in a few days. It records location and heart rate and then can replay the race in a virtual simulation. Pretty cool! You can buy them as well of course.
