Single User Mode, its really nice. No Login, KDE, bad security but for the beginer its good.
It is _not_ bad for security, when used by a home user, the home user have a much more secure access control, called "the front door".
If you can access the hardware, there are not much security in a password anyway, unless you are talking encryption, and that is not the case here. --
Putting a little more work in this idea, and there is no excuse for game developers not to use linux.
Now if they can deliver the game, with the option to boot from the cd (attention i said option).
They can't say that it is difficult to make games for linux because, there is inconsistency between, the distribution, and the kernels and the...
If you cant make it work on your normal linux system, you can always boot directly from the cd.
Now why haven't this been done before, maybe because, the available OS's where closed, and had the burden of license payments.
In the long run it will be easier to develop self booting games, rather than having the games being compatible with win 9x, win nt, win... a.s.o. A linux cd game boot system would be much more consistent. And you can make chances to the OS, on your cd without having to care about breaking compatibility, because it is only running your game.
We will have zero-g airplanes hovering around
Hey! Why stop there, think having a negative-g airplaine. You actualy have to figt your way down to earth, or you will get lost in space... awsome;o)

4) Authorise take a look at http://paybox.net/ there you can make a creditcard alike payment with authorizasion. It's a simple system where the credit card company, sends a SMS message to the card holder, when they recive a request from the company wanting the money. And without your reply including a pin code, the payment dosn't happen. In Hamburg the taxi's already use it. (acording to www.3sat.de)
I do not believe that I have ever seen anything on the FSF site explaining why something along these lines (obv. not exactly this sort of thing) is not a good idea.
In the future, our children will ask: Why was it once a crime to share, with your friends?
Now, the FAA and airlines may also have a legitimate beef, and maybe even some regulations, but it's the FCC who will slap you with a heavy fine if they catch you doing it.
Now, if you make the plane crash, do that really matter?
Right now some countries are complaining about how english-centric the web is. We will be seeing more of spanish ( http://www.Quepasa.com), Chinese, Japenese, German ( http://www.suse.de ), and the like. In a few years, the translation machines wil be so good, that you wil read the entire web, in your own language. the translation wil properly be built in to the browser.

It seems to me that sometimes, it's probably just better to let the FUD bury itself
When hitler and the nazi's started making FUD about the jews, most said they are ridiculous, let them talk. They will die out quietly.
Well did they?
