    Question --- isn't it unconstitutional to give people a right but not make them aware that they have it? Isn't that why the police are required to give people they arrest their miranda right (the right to remain silent, etc.)? Why is this even legal?

    In part. You can create an encapsulated postscript file in The GIMP, and either convert that to PDF verbatim or insert it into a (La)TeX document, and then convert the resulting formatted .dvi or postscript, which is normally done for printing anyway.

    Why limit yourself to 16 colors? This screenshot is of a demonstration of all 256 colors xterm has to offer. Of course, they can be set to anything you'd like. These are just the defaults.

    Another annoying this is it, like all KDE programs, assumes the user is an idiot. I mean, the user can't even be trusted with XLFD, but instead just has "small, medium, and large" for the font size? What kind of crap is that? I hate KDE.

    No, that's nothing. The GPL only governs distribution. You can *use* it however you like, including runnings things in the same memory space. If, on my own machine, I wanted to statically link, say, XChat against Motif, I could do that.
