I've submitted a few "ask slashdot" questions and they never get submitted. I thought my questions were interesting and lively. What the hell kind of question is this? It's a freakin' adaptor sometimes they work sometimes they don't. If they didn't work at all they're wouldn't be a market for them and they wouldn't be packaged if pretty much every PS/2 device around.
What's next "Do you like round or square ice cube trays?"
I've been thinking of picking up a new mobo and proc the last few days. So I fire up my browser this morning getting ready for another round of mobo drooling and "AMD backs MS in court" is the first thing I see. I can't start a day like this.
I've always seen (like most of us here I believe) Intel as the MS of hardware so I've used AMD for years without issue and saving money.
I'm not surprised I'm just hurt. And I'm also giving Intel more than a glance now. I might as well.
With cable/DSL connections, the constant change of open-source software, and that the publishers usually add at least $10 to the price. I see it as a bad bad thing. I do like the idea of a pdf of the book though but if you can't do that give a great index.

So does that mean I need 7 boxes from my SAT or cable company? Do they offer some kind of bulk discount for that?
