and i suppose i should replace my HK AVR 7000 which put me back 3k.. just so i can adopt this fantastic new audio setup? i invested in DVD and Surround sound, i'm not about to buy into some other competing audio setup..

He has visions of cities that glow from within, and buildings whose windows need not be flat, rectangular panes, but can be arbitrary regions of transparency within flowing, curving walls.

Hmm, maybe we could all live like smurfs in giant mushroom houses.. i mean.. what the hell is he thinking? how do you expect to make non rectangular windows....? maybe this can be used in one of those 'art houses', you know, those ones with the 20' steel doors, and the giant gargoiles and the 'modern art' paintings consisting of black and only black ("I call it, city.. at night!").

why do you need a TiPB?

i've got a G4 350, does all the sound manipulation i need.. well... i have pushed it in Reason when i was running 25 synths at the same time,... that made a bit of skipping, heheh..

digital isn't better then straight vinyl mixing, if DJ's wanted to go digital they would have done it a while ago, when they invented the DJ CD player with pitch control,.. i use both vinyl and CD players.. guess it's just preferrence, since the audio quality is practically identical (that is if DJs take care of their vinyl.....) www.djneoform.com

the ever-increasing number of morons who will pay full-retail price + 20% for things on eBay.

I've purchased 3 peices of DJ equipment (new) off ebay, totaling over $4000CND, on each i saved a few hundred dollars due to the fact that local audio stores charge higher then retail prices! the items on ebay were several hundred below retail.. explain to me how this makes me a moron? btw, to avoid canadian border charges.. all you have to do is put a "damaged goods" tag on it.. though the guys at the border did hold on of my turntables for 2 weeks.. you think they're be able to figure out that "the pitch doesn't hold at a steady 33.3rpm" isn't true.. hah.

quite true, since it just puts people out on the street spending all their cash of garbage drugs (since the prices are so high.. you'd never see someone spend all their cash on cigs.. they're cheap enough)...

speaking of degrating shows.. take a look at the simpsons. I've seen ever episode at least 4-5 times, but the recent seasons have been using a new format where they spend the first 10 minutes setting up what is going to happen in the next 20.. and it has absolutely no continuity, they seem to just run off and do random things, and it's just not funny any more.
    worst season ever!
(best episode was the 'scorpio' one)
