"And while we're at it, let's consider what gigantic software monopoly distributes a flight simulator capable of accurately emulating passenger airliners, along with detailed scenery of American airports and major urban centers, complete with individual office towers."
Oh come on! You want to imply that Microsoft should shoulder some of the blame for what some zealots did because their game is accurate? That is completely preposterous. I am not a fan of the pigopolists over in Redmod either, but this statement is just a knee-jerk reaction spouted with no logical consideration.
As an interesting aside to this, William Powell, author of everyone's favorite tome of tyranny the Anarchist Cookbook, publicly denounced the book. There used to be a note from the author on Amazon urging people not to buy the book, but I see that it's been removed. Guess Barricade Books wasn't too fond of his idea.
This story offers some more details. Apparently, the fire was started by two teens after they were refused access to the cafe in question. One boy, 13, faces time in a correctional facility, while the other, 14, might be tried as an adult.
From the article: "The 14-year-old could be tried for murder and arson, [a lawyer] said.
'But considering his age, the sentence may be more lenient than with adults. It's unlikely he will get the death penalty.'"
Right now I'm busy reading James Bamford's Bod y of Secrets. So far, I'm having a blast. The book follows the genesis and development of the US's premier eavesdroppers. -
I haven't seen anyone bring it up yet, so I thought that I would mention abebooks. The site is basically a portal for used book stores, and you can usually find multiple copies of just about anything that you're looking for. -
You're actually more right than you know. I remember reading a couple years ago that George denied that there ever was a third trilogy planned. From what I understand--which might not be that much--the existence of a third trilogy was basically an urban legend.
Since the Star Wars saga revolves around Anakin, the fact that he dies in RotJ (shit, did I just give away that Anakin is Vader) should add weight to the theory that there was never meant to be more.

There are thousands of books out there that I haven't heard of yet. Does that mean that they haven't been published?

"Along-known selling point of fiber optics is that..."
Damn, and I thought my spelling was bad.
