Maybe it's just me, but after reading the term, I visioned a "community" mob treatening to burn Linksys's complex to the ground, Linksys gave in, the mob get what they want, and Linksys swear they won't do anything with the community again.
IMHO, Linksys just honors the license of the software they used. Maybe they just strayed a bit, but it's not like they are actively trying to violate it. Why don't we put a better positive word to the situation? It will make the "community" sound like a more pleasant entity to interact with when we don't go pressuring people for what we want.
In Australia, maybe. But here in Japan, the camera-cellphone thingy is already a hit. Most teenagers have it, many adults have it. And, as far as my experience goes, most people that have it use it regularly. I think it's quite convenience as a kind of notepad, because you take it with you everywhere and thus can take notes instantly everywhere too.
And here comes the problem. People browse magazine in book store and find a small tidbit of information that they want. Maybe a map, maybe date of some special events. Instead of buying the magazine, people just take the photo of the info that they want. People can take a small piece of paper and take note when they browse thru magazine in book store. The camera-cellphone just makes it more convinient to do.
I can imagine a game where people try very hard to rob you nake at every turn. Just to save money they would have had to spend in-game. Then, after hearing enough whines, the company will start a public service called "Police," but you will have to pool some resources to pay their salary to cover their in-game expense. Imagine what will come next *shudder* lawyer?
This game has a potential to become the most reallistic game ever! *grin*
Is there any way to check if their value of Pi is really correct, short of calculate those trillion places myself?
I have heard that long time ago there was someone annouced the value of Pi to around 1000 places, only to be found wrong afterward.

Even on Liquid Crystal TV (I have no plasma TV to play with) the movie still looks reddish, not so much different than normal CRT TV. Even if it is really intended to be view on those kind of TVs, there should be warning on the package.
Here is some screenshots. (in Japanese web page, but you don't need to read to see the picture;-)
I saw one at my friend's house. It really looks terrible!
You are a manager, right? I guess you just finished a meeting with MS sales drones, yes?

What are you talking about? Of course they use TeX for documents, and use CSV files and perl scripts to process them as spread sheets!

It is expected that the cost will be somewhere between 50,000 to 100,000 yen.
