Since last month, I've gotten all of Trigun, all of The Tick (the original cartoon show), and all of Evangelion from Direct Connect, with help from Morpheus.
The only reason I haven't gotten much, MUCH more is that I don't like most TV shows.
I'm amazed that slashdot would report about such old news as television sharing; I expect a headline like that from the traditional news.
Tivo was hyped only with "look how much better your experience will be", whereas DVD used that AND the much more powerful "If you do not buy this product, in a few years you will not be able to watch videos". That's why Joe Sixpack bought a DVD player.

I agree; I want free beer, and I have no compunctions about taking it from someone like AOL.
However, I don't feel that I am personally costing them revenue, because during the time I did use AIM, I never clicked a single ad. I wonder how many of the million trillian users (smart enough to switch clients) are dumb enough to click the ads.
It's not such a big deal, actually, since the paper isn't very great. It's nice to see people online who even know what stuff like that is. Actually, I was surprised at the number of people who replied to the Beautiful Mind story. It's a lot more popular than I expected, even with a community like/.

If I may brag, I'm 19 and mine is soon to be 3

Roger Moore was in his 60s when he finished doing Bond movies. Nothing Harrison Ford or Pierce Brosnan do could possibly be that shameful, especially since they'll probably look younger than Roger well into their 70s.

Watching the Kernel develop is like watching DBZ, except in DBZ the powerups are faster and there's less time between episodes.

But he was *right*.
But his amateur work places him in the top 10 practicers of mathematics of all times, as far as I'm concerned, and most folk agree with me.
