If you are going to rage like a two year old at least try to sprinkle a little bit of truth amongst your one eyed rhetoric. Thankfully the Israelis did use cameras. You can see those innocent peace loving protesters: http://www.youtube.com/user/idfnadesk#p/a/u/0/bU12KW-XyZE The middle east conflict is not black and white. While Israel deserves criticism for some actions it is as important to acknowledge that Hamas has no Nelson Mandela. Hamas doesn't recognize Israel's right to exist. As the government responsible for Gaza its being treated the same way as the rest of the world is treating North Korea. Despite the fact that the millions of Koreans affected are civilians. It is also important to use words like Genocide in context. Keeping in mind true genocides like those inflicted in Rwanda, on the Kurds by the Turks, currently happening in Zimbabwe. If you consider introducing a little balance to your squealing then your valid points might get a little more support.

  2. Change Incentive Structure on BSkyB Wins £709m Lawsuit Against HP-EDS · · Score: 1

Having worked at EDS and a number of other technology organizations I believe that the incentive schemes shape behavior. Those EDS sales teams at BSkyB and other accounts mentioned would have received their commission cheques when the deal was signed. Deal Signed = $$$$$ Should their incentives and commission be paid in line with the delivery of major milestones and/or the delivery of the solution to the cost model and specification then there would be a little more focus on the technical components rather than just the commercial ones. For this to happen it would take an industry wide shift as EDS/HP, IBM, Accenture all pay the same way. If I were a client negotiating with any of these organizations I would demand that the sales team not get commissioned until my major milestones are met.. Money makes the world go round...

Ahm... wrong...To say Cisco Spantree implementation is wrong is a ridiculous comment. Its like saying Ferrari's implementation of the wheel is flawed... If you take the time and think of a topology with multiple VLAN's working across 100 + switches ( such as the environment I work in ).. it is essential to run multiple instances of spantree ( 1 instance of spantree per VLAN ). Therefore you have the possibility to load balance at Layer 2 and more importantly provide a more redundant topology. By having different root bridges for different VLAN's you also minimize down time in case of hardware failure. i.e. root bridge for ALL VLAN's fails... every VLAN is affected for a period of time. On Cisco Switches use PVST+ ( per vlan spanning tree ) whether you use 802.1q or ISL. I think you will find that anyone that is responsible for a LARGE campus being rather enthused about the ability of using multiple instances of spantree ( u dont have 2 ) the only down side to this is CPU cycles and a tiny bit of bandwidth.
