ahh, bath times will never be the same again..come to think of it, nor will fishing in a sub..
can u imagine one day, all the rich and famous will go underwater? its not a bad idea really, since underwater provides good privacy against the media.... just set your sonar for STUN Mr Spock... he he he.
can i hack my mouse so that a picture is taken everytime i click?
would be great for point and click adventures, u could keep a record of what u;ve done!
well, jsut a thought... in need of KARMA.. LOL
so what? watermarking Divx/MP3..
that won't stop me using iTunes to rip legit CDs and pass them over to my friends, or share over p2p's.
and who actually downloads legitimate divx?
would the watermarking affect DVD-Ripped Divx movies at sites such as this? if not, the, this won't really affect piracy very much, and like many of you have said, it simply a matter of time before it is cracked.
I download Divx movies all the time, and if i like one very much, I'll go out and buy the DVD. Same with MP3s.
BTW, theres always Digital > Analogue > Digital - although the loss of quality would be the price to pay for that.
Theres a good video on Megahertz Myth about the megahertz myth... pretty interesting. watching the video, they explain about how the PowerPC chips have less 'pipeline' stages and so, even though the clock speed is lower, the computer is still able to perform at the same level as a much faster CPU.
I totally agree that Mr Joe Average thinks that faster cpu's = FASTER/BETTER computer.
I don't think it really matters whether its P2 333mhz or a P4 2.4ghz apart from the speed, i mean c'mon, do we really care about this? give Intel/AMD 2 months, and we'll probably see another/. articel about a 4.8ghz or 10ghz chip... its just one of those things...
I'm also on a 1 man quest to educate the public about the megahertz myth. So, come and join in the fight! hahahaha...:-|
I dunno what phones cost in the US, but still I would not pay $30 or £ equivlent for a disposble phone.
You can quite easily pick up a pay-as-you go phone over hear for £29.99 (maybe about $40??) and for that price, you get a fully featured phone (last time i saw one, it was a Phillips Genie)
Im still not sceptical about the whole voice recognition thing.. what if you're in a noisy / bad reception area? will it still be able to recognise then?
/././././././././.
i kinda got the pics up.. but thats about it.. doh!
i reckon us/. members should be nice and whoever getsa page b4/.'ed should mirror it... just not on geocities...
well sunshine, there is a way to tell OSX to boot up like, barebones.. no fancy GUI et al. i read about it somewhere on/.
BTW, opensource may be great and fun, but OSX is for busy people, who have more things to do than to recompile their enitre kernel before breakfast and then maybe start work... having said that.. anything is better than WINDOZE....
these online auction thingys sound pretty darn fishy to me....
me? i prefer to go to a shop to buy my goods, or failing that, Loot.com and get the goods in person. Thats how I got my brand "new" iBook 600... for £850... though i very much doubt it was purchased legit....:) oh well, it works all the same, and I'm very very very happy with it.
True, I may have been able to get the same iBook off ebay for less, but a) I was scared of losing my money b)the price will increase as more and more people bid for it...
It pays to check out your options before you buy anything, that applies to both buying online and in real life.
