Canuck, I've been in a similar situation to you.
I think the causes are two-fold. Firstly your mind probably isn't functioning as well as it could be. Try reading, meditation, yoga - something to refresh your mind and perhaps bring some inspiration or motivation back into your work.
Second, think about your work and what originally motivated you to start it in the first place. Presumably you came up with the idea or design for the game in the first place, so there must have been something personally driving you there. Recapture that mindset and, like some other posters have said, make some initial small steps toward improving the project.
Read the article, troll.
These guys are Mac fans and they're actually doing Apple a tremendous service by providing publicity in a very unusual, humorous way.
If only Apple's inane Switch campaign had more of this kind of spirit.
If by "NZ" you mean New Zealand (and I'm not aware of any other country sharing this abbreviation), then as a kiwi I must take umbrage: my home country is neither a European country - far from it - nor a socialist one.
Furthermore it's arguable whether New Zealand or any other developed nation is "doing better" than the USA (in NZ's case I could argue either way) unless you focus your attention on particular statistics or attributes.

Oh, finally someone who felt the same way about MR as I did. I simply cannot believe how many people on/., which I thought had a pretty critical user base, enjoyed this movie. To me it was a pretty cynical gimmick of a production - put a few anachronistic pop songs in a very colorful historical set piece and hope the talented stars make something of the fairly meaningless plot. To me at least, they didn't.
Go, LotR!
That seems a little too specific to me compared to the other terms in the equation.
Surely viral plaques, along with other scourges such as nuclear war are factored into L, the average lifetime of a communicating civilization.
