    His argument does not address the argument. It creates a strawman that claiming the argument is that the code is not stored in the same repo.

    Systemd is a tool, not just a project. Systemd as a tool tries to do many different things, and it does many if not all poorly. You may not need all of the components to work but you need several, such as binary logging that you cannot disable.

    He says it does not break the UNIX philosophy because everything is in the same code base purposely ignoring that it does not do one thing and do it well. He was creating a strawman.

    No, you cannot "just turn that off" when using syslog you still have to have the "new way" there to redirect to the "old way". Sure you may not keep the binary logs, supposedly, but the overhead is still there.

    Then I am not "sicking with the old way of logging" and I cannot freely chose what software to use. I am stuck with binary logging and just pushing it to text logging after the fact.

    However there are a lot of places where you can charge an all electric vehicle for free. How many places can you get your diesel for free? That will drive down the cost of ownership.

    Way to create a false dilemma. I dont pirate anything, yet I support net neutrality 100%. The cable operator I pay for an internet connection should not determine who/where I go to. I pay for a connection and if they want to oversell the connection that is something they have to deal with.4

    But This is happening in the "conservative, state's rights, tea party wing" areas, such as Texas more than the other area. In fact the "minority" group there is much much worse at subverting the constitution.

    The others are the same. It does not say citizen, and it has been interpreted to not mean citizen. So unless you are claiming better qualifications than the SCOTUS, you are definitely wrong.

    The Bill of Rights is extended to state governments by the 14th amendment, which says:

          No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law

    So yeah, you're simply wrong. The Consitution applies only due process applies to non-citizens. The first, second, fourth, and fifth amendments, at least are protected for "citizens of the United States". People here illegally are entitled to due process, a hearing, before they are nailed or their property is taken. Other than that, they are intruders and have about the same rights as someone who broke into your home. Legal immigrants are guests in the country and you can think about the difference in rights between a guest you invite into your home versus you in your own home. Only one of two is allowed to touch the thermostat, or go upstairs.

    it says any PERSON, not any CITIZEN.. So he is correct, you are wrong.
