So? What does her sexual activity with other men have to do with whether or not she was raped by Kobe? I was presenting an excerpt from the whole thing, and there is other data. What it has to do with it is that it didn't align with her story. Specifically. Also, if you have the semen of several other people on your person, I'm not sure that any evidence of physical trauma can be admitted, and the onus is on her to provide evidence in a criminal case. What evidence does she have left? Her word? I wouldn't take a dude with 5 girl's pussy juices on him for his word, and I wouldn't her, either. Ergo, it has little to do with her rape, but everything to do with me believing a goddamn thing she says.

Also, my comment was about the Middle East.

After all, actual prostitutes can be raped, too. Sure. While we're on the subject, I think prostitution should be legal, because I think it's weird that it's illegal to pay someone to fuck you unless you have them sign a model release, videotape it, and sell it on the Internet.

A rape victim might even start having consensual sex with his or her attacker, before withdrawing consent. Yeah. I think that there should be a legally defined safe word so that there's not any confusion. In Japanese, saying "no, no, it hurts, it hurts" is porn-star pillow talk. So while I agree with you again on a technical level, I believe that the line that is drawn here does little to protect the majority of actual rape victims, and is easily manipulated to hurt innocent people.

As soon as consent is withdrawn (or if it has never been given), the sexual act becomes rape. Are we talking explicit consent here? Because if we are, then you are full of shit. Explicit consent is very rarely given, in my experience. I have never raped anyone. Rape and date rape laws are fucked up. For example:

    1. a drunk man and a drunk woman have sex, both out of a sense of obligation.
    VERDICT: Man date raped woman.
    2. a drunk man and a sober woman have sex, both out of a sense of obligation.
    VERDICT: Man date raped woman.
    3. a sober man and a drunk woman have sex, both out of a sense of obligation.
    VERDICT: Man date raped woman.

Except in very rare cases. I in fact know a girl who made out with a guy at Eckerd College, and he later went to the provost or whoever and told them he was fucked up on PRESCRIBED MENTAL HEALTH DRUGS and she manipulated him into MAKING OUT WITH HER. She was given a curfew or GTFO, so she stopped going there. Everyone I tell that story thinks it's fucked up. I suspect that most people would be ok with it given a gender reversal. I suspect the only reason it happened at all was the college needed to improve its statistics.

Bitches have made me feel obligated to fuck them, and there's never been a single thing I could do about it, even though I was inebriated in some form or another at the time. Where would you like your river cried? I'll get on that shit ASAP.

Anyway, I wouldn't climb into a cage with a horny gorilla unless I planned to fuck him, nor would I go up to Kobe's hotel room for a nightcap unless I planned to fuck him. You know why? I'm not fucking stupid.

Right, but supporting a few terrorist states against all the other terrorist states in a volatile part of the world, whipping up racial hatred within our populace, and carpet bombing cities full of innocent people is bound to get people extra foaming-at-the-mouth-hopping-up-and-down-no-fucking-shit angry.

The Taliban may be the the ONLY target we can justify over there, and a) we quit going after them, and b) we gave them all their money and weapons in the 70s (I think the 70s?)

If we got invaded by some nation bent on wiping out "radical christianity," you don't think a bunch of heavily armed down-home rednecks with a hand-bound copy of the Anarchist's Cookbook wouldn't be equipping their children so they could get that much closer to the invaders? Insurgents, indeed.

Actually, those labels are based on their voting record, not any personal preference. However, you may be on to something. Could it be possible that a candidate, in preparation for presidential bid, would start voting the party line to secure a nomination? I think you're missing that whoever calls someone the "most liberal" is SELECTING their criteria.

For example, you can say that voting to subsidize corn is liberal OR conservative, depending on your perspective, because liberal and conservative are fake labels. Say I vote for corn subsidies, and John McCain votes to subsidize tobacco (anachronistic, I know). Which is more conservative? I'll wager it's probably what John McCain wanted, because I am a poor hippie, and he is a Republican, which makes his opinion conservative, and mine liberal.

That is how the name game goes on both sides. Though the Republicans tend to do this sort of stuff more. Will Rogers once said, "I don't belong to any organized political party--I'm a Democrat."

    Ridiculous.

The biggest complaints about the iPhone are the lack of 3G, lack of GPS and no current support for cut and paste or MMS. So you're saying that since the biggest problems aren't the closed platform and security issues, that they haven't hurt the product. Good use of the argument "A is true, therefore R"

And anyway, about cut and paste, if the platform weren't locked down (going off-topic a bit), there would've been a third party cut and paste app within a couple weeks of release for $10. Within a couple months, there would've been 20 free options.

Not the biggest problem with the iPhone, but do we need to approach problems in sequential order?

Or at all, for that matter. Unfortunately, social policy is entangled with race, but that doesn't mean people can't act and disregard race as anything other than symbolic.

In voting for a black man, he's voting for a minority that also happened to be enslaved for half of the country's history, and couldn't vote for half of the time they've been free. He's voting against the social structure, not against the white race.

The social structure that he's voting against is racist towards black people (in varying degrees at different times, but this point is indisputable). If the guy voting for the white guy makes the "it's about social structure" argument, that's fine, but he's voting FOR a racist social structure. Ergo, they are not equally racist.

What I meant by my answer to your question (it seems you failed to notice what I was quoting before my answer) is that I think most people would believe that something should be illegal on MySpace would be an adult impersonating someone with the sole intention of luring a 13-year old girl in down the street into a psychotic fantasy world and manipulating her so that she can be exploited, and then, after having manipulated the girl and created a fantasy world that does not exist, using inside information that the early-pubescent girl had no way of knowing she had to craft her deceit in such a way that the girl stood no chance, and once having thusly gained foothold in the girl's psyche telling her to kill herself.

I think most people would think that should be illegal. And I think if people who knew anything about computers would lend experience in a meaningful way rather than just complaining about how the people making the laws don't understand the ramifications of their actions and can't word things in a way that accurately represents their goal in technical terms, then maybe we wouldn't have quite so many stupid fucking laws regarding this.

This woman didn't just randomly happen across this girl on the Internet. She retreated to the Internet in such a way as to manipulate a girl who was going through what is arguably the most difficult period in anyone's life. Teenagers' brains, especially the regions regulating emotion, are undergoing rapid growth, and to have such a conniving psychological predator at such a time is probably not something anyone is equipped to handle.

If your kids ever kill themselves, I won't assume that they're fucking stupid and/or that you fucked up. Maybe you will. Good for you.
