This trackie is also fine, altough i'd prefer a trackman marble (logitech), but I could not find any to buy on this shithole, so I got the M$ one. heh. So fair it's workin ok (on linux/usb, go figure)

this is utterly untrue, dude. P=V.I, states the good old ohm's law. One doesn't need current or voltage to make things work. 100V and 1A does the same job as 1V and 100A.
The better is to use higher tensions to minimize current (wiring is damn expensive), but that has a limit (arcs, for example), and good insulation are also expensive.

I even made a perlscript to download them all, since they ban wget (user agent shit, probably).

However, ya can derive the value of R easily (also from the good old ohms ohm's law)
case 1 : v=100V, i=1A, r=100 ohms, p1 = 100W
case 2 : v=1V, i=100A, r=.01 ohms, p2 = 100W
and yes, p1 = p2. only the resistance bit is kinda theoretical" (.01 ohms, haha), but perfectly true.
