    It's not a bug, it's by design. I'm not joking. Your local troll headquarters explains it as being a property of Unicode to not break lines in certain places. Even though Unicode is quite new, this behaviour is retroactive to certain ASCII chars like period and slash. Fully-implemented Unicode libraries will support wide pages if the text is layed out with the "proper" punctuation.

    -5 is the threshold between posting at -1 and 0. 0 karma is the threshold between 0 and 1, and 25 is the threshold between 1 and 2. I think karma is floor-capped at -25, and of course capped at 50. It takes 4-5 downmods in 24 hours to get banned for 72.
