I have been a TR reader for years and I have alot of respect for the guys who put these reviews up but this review was a joke. My main beef is with the methodology of testing audio "quality" via mp3's(dbt's aside). On crap PC speakers(yes ALL of them are crap). As if the sound wasn't colored enough, whichever card applies the most matched EQ wins. I have listened to a few of these cards on my audiophile-quality system they all sound like hell because they are designed for use with desktop speakers. New HSF technologies will be needed to keep the playing field equal. Since laptops are compact it will be a large uphill battle.
