  1. Steve Purcell ? on LucasArts announces Sam & Max sequel · · Score: 0

Does anyone know if the original comic book creator Steve Purcell will be involved in this one ?

He was involved in the first one, and even did the animations. If I'm not mistaken, he did a bunch of animations for Lucasarts adventure games, including Monkey Island 1 and 2.

If he doesn't participate, it'll hardly be worth anything.

  2. Sen to chichiro on Sen To, X-Men 2 · · Score: 0

I saw this film with original sound and english subtitles.

I have to say this is the best way to wach a film. I absolutely hate dubbing. Keep in mind Miyazaki directed the japanese version, not the dubbed.

And Sen to Chichiro is in my opinion the best ever from Miyazaki.

What in the hell is the function represented by the dotted line? And why is it so far away from the experimental points (I'm assuming) in the log-scale version?

You can't fit a function to three or four points and expect something useful. Not to mention there's no mention of uncertanty anywhere.

    Crappy.

3 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? The article doesn't mention and it makes a lot of difference.

On the one hand, sure, ourdiplomats have a national goal of promoting U.S. enterprise, but do we have to promote companies which we are simultaneously pursuing in court for numerous violations of our laws? Isn't that a bit counter-productive?
It's not counter-productive if they're screwing someone outside the contry. That's just standard US foreign policy.
