  1. Triforce Board = Trojan horse? on Sega, Nintendo Team Up To Create New Graphics Board · · Score: 1

With this new Triforce board coming out, one can only wonder if it's real purpose is to be able to port arcade games to Gamecube with super ease, making it a trojan horse or sorts...

It should also be notted that Nintendo is considering developing a way where you could save high scores, secret characters, etc from the arcades, and be able to bring it home and play it on your cube. I belive Sega has been testing this technology in Japan.

Whatever the case, if it gets some more good games to the Cube, as well as strengthens relations with Namco and Sega, then i'm all for it.

Later this year. It shoudn't be delayed, as Retro Studios have canceled all other projects to focus solely on Metroid.

  3. Sounds interesting on Foot-Powered Laptop · · Score: 1

Not exactly sure how I could use it, although it's an intersting concept. If it generated more power, then it'd sure be something.

  4. Hmm... on Harddrive Speakers · · Score: 2

Reminds me of last week's episode of The Simpsons, where Marge's old boyfriend invents a device to turn modem static into music.

  5. I'm living in the past on Non-Apple Buttonless Mouse · · Score: 1

I'm still on my good ol' Logitech serial mouse. Sadly, this thing is more reliable then any other mouse i've come in contact with, as they have resulted in either breaking, or they died out on me while playing Age of Empires.

You woudn't belive how much it sucked sending in a huge horse archer army against someone online and then having your mouse die out on you.

  6. Re:It's not violence on Violent Video Game Protection Act · · Score: 1

Yeah, but does little 7 year old Bobby know the differnce between real violence and a bunch of pixelated blood effects on his TV? Even though you know the differnce, it doesn't mean everyone else in the world does too. I'll admit, in little kids, it would cause them to become more violent. I'm not so sure though about teenagers. By the time people reach their teen years, they are old enough to tell weither something is fake or not. It's all up to the parents really, to make the final decision.

  7. Rambus? Naw on Is Rambus Destined to Return? · · Score: 1

I'm generally not too fond of Rambus. Why you ask? Look at what's it's done with the N64. Framerate problems, jaggies...etc. I'm just fine with my SDRAM, thankyouverymuch.
