I think that anyone who is savvy enough to buy Linux on a pc, is probably not going to like the default setup. I would see hp being much more successful, if they would do something like Microsoft does w/ their HCL. " These systems are compatible w/ Linux. " Then the end user can install.
Face it your average Joe is not going to buy a $2,000 PC just cause it comes w/ Linux on it. ( mabye a powermac g4 )
