    My T61 works nicely with FC9 (except for suspend/resume) - I connected to my linksys wap, put a password in, and away I went. I rather enjoy the whole experience, to tell the truth.

    Of course - we are a customer base, and we expect to have our needs catered to.

    ou made the choice to run a platform that isn't well supported by video card manufacturers. Either stop using the platform, or find video cards that work on your platform. What if there is no good video cards for your platform? Tough luck. Sorry. You should have considered that before installing the OS, eh?

    Third choice: lobby for support from major chip manufacturers. What makes you think a large group of users is powerless, anyway? 5% of 100M is 5MM people, with some of them having cause to buy 100+ units of product.

    It is beyond arrogant to expect the world to cater to your choice of operating system.

    Don't need the world. Just need a couple companies.

    You can't teach the safe way only because the unsafe way is vital for adhoc sql. What's needed is competent devs. For the gui based warnings, you need static analysis to spot sql that's glued together from tainted sources and even then, the dimwits will ignore the warnings.

    Are you insane? Write parameterized SQL for all your queries and this just won't happen - setting your name to ';-- drop table users;' will just result in funky display logic.

    Anarchy will lead to oppression, period. Anarchy is, as bryansix said, the clean slate, and only lasts a short while. Your one group is inevitable and comes quickly because hey, with no leaders or structure, it's easy to build a power base.
