"all we got was a warning after 10-12G that we'd be reduced to dialup speeds."

This is how it should be. Charging for simply enabling another device to use bandwidth that you're ALREADY paying for is fucking stupid. I don't even understand how that makes sense or why customers would tolerate it.

Anywho - with that said - which companies out there offer android/iphones, allow tethering, and don't ream their customers? I'm an ATT customer (since 2003) and pretty much ready to jump ship.

You pose a lot of similar questions I have - none of which I really have answers to.

Something I'm wondering though - will western intervention adulterate the middle eastern causes? Will it be twisted from being something the people initiated to something that was "really" a part of the "imperialists' agenda"?

An interesting point made was with this post, in that the nations there are also requesting for help with this from the UN.

I see your point (and pondered it myself as I posted the parent), but is time really something tangible we can manipulate?

I find it to be a bit of a stretch to view as something that we can actually shift around and tie into knots. It's much more realistic that we could only adjust our perception of forward-moving time (such as possibly being frozen for a thousand years while doing interstellar travel as a random example).

Now I know I might get flogged for this - but time, IMHO, is merely a measure of a sequence of events. To say you can go backwards in time is like saying you measured something one foot long from the other side this time. It didn't turn into -1 foot long. Is it really possible to you that we could alter our reality today by changing our past? As someone mentioned elsewhere - what if you went into the past and shot yourself. Do you still exist?
