if one of the 3 strain gauges goes bad it can still give you a reading that seems reasonable when combined with the other two. they would need to be calibrated periodically to account for wear and fatigue.
I work on tanks with strain gauges that are regularly filled and drained with about 200k lbs of material regularly, and its not uncommon to see it drift by a few thousand pounds in a year due to wear, and this is in a relatively temperature stable environment.
all this technology exists, I work in the weighing industry. you could drop a single (long) scale across the taxiways to gather per wheel weight and accumulate it then beam the total to the plane through a wireless link, wifi, bluetooth. plane wouldn't even have to stop. they do have some smaller ones to weigh cargo.
the problem here is this all needs calculated before they taxi out and take off.
the problem with the strain gauges in the landing gear idea is two fold. temperature extremes, and calibration.
in an interview the other day the cleveland police union rep stated that there is about 10% of the force he has to deal with on a regular basis due to complaints and accusations of misconduct.. that translates to about 20 officers
There is a machine shop I do service work for that is using a Toledo dial scale from about 1915, in production, constantly throughout the day. and it woks just as well as it did when it was built, and most people trust it more than the newer electronic scales.
I see a lot of old lab gear also, a lot of people get comfortable with the equipment they use so regularly that they would much rather limp along something that they know well rather than learn something new and better.
you consent to being watched for advertising to use a free service.
you do not consent to be monitored even more broadly just in case they need all your info to use in some possible future crime, or to track your political views, or to..... insert any number of nefarious purposes, but it's secret so it's ok.
NY law prevents lists of lawful gun owners from being public record to protect their safety.
the paper would have had to place a request for information on every seperate name on that list to be in compliance with the law, the only people who can see the full list are the DA and whomever does the licensing.
as americans, it is our civic duty to go out and add as much noise to this useless illegal app as possible. most states (NY included) it is illegal to maintain a list of lawful gun owners. we all need to download this and tag as many places as possible, churches, schools, police stations, whole streets. the more noise the better.
most likely because he saw what happened to the last 3 that used those processes... how many felonies? how much time lost in court and jail? what really came to light from them? nothing... right..
.
I wish I had mod points.
Finally someone who followed it close enough to understand whats going on.. they have browser info.. he went here and downloaded this onto the encrypted drive etc.. it's assumed to be CP but they can't prove it without decryption, barely enough to convict unless he gives them the evidence they need, I don't agree with the alleged actions but I agree with his rights to not incriminate himself.
you can right now print high cap mags. one time use most likely.
you can also make your own from sheet steel and some tin snips in about the same amount of time.
I can 3d print, or make a gun on my CNC machine. including the bullets.
what now gun control?
I say fix the social issues first, then gun control becomes a non issue.
failsafe? not exactly

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the other options.
3.) apple did a bad optimization
4.) apple crippled the chips in design or by software to give samsung a bad name.
I just plugged a tech II scan tool into my OBD port and now have full control over all the systems in my vehicle.
so.. basically, they just sent the right commands and got a reaction without paying a few grand to do it right.
Non PC related, this predates those!

Strippers.
Idiocracy reference. . . I like money...
banks do not record the serial numbers of the bills that go in the machines. FYI
by fear... yes.
most of the military would fall into chaos pretty quick..
you might be surprised....
Trying to provoke the gun nuts into attacking?
might want to check the supreme court rulings, and re read the bill of rights.
the police nor FBI found any credible threats made against the newspaper or anyone working there. it's just grandstanding.
