Also, jerry gets a date with that model girl from vista/bruce springsteen video. After their date, she invites him up for "hot coffee". As she changes into "something comfortable", he looks through a photo album and discovers she's Newman's sister. This causes him to lose his stiffy and leave the apartment in shame, as she laughs uncontrollably.

One thing I like about postgresql vs MS Sql is the triggers. MS SQL triggers are after-insert, per statement only, IIRC. Pg triggers are per statement or per row, before or after. There's also a rule system and the ability to rewrite the query, for updateable views or other tricks. The lacking features are clustered indexes, replication, and partitioning. I'll also mention hash indexes -- it has them, but they're not journaled, and they're not generally recommended. I'm not going to comment on MySQL since I haven't used it since 4.x and it sort of has triggers now.

Oh, also, the pgpsql stored procedure language is similar to oracle's psql and fairly fun to program in.

slashdot is a marque site, but not particularly profitable. VA Linux or whatever they're called now, makes moet of their money selling source forge, which is closed source and proprietary. Slashdot runs on MySQL, and they have dedicated MySQL programmers who have customized it. I've heard they've kept their patches to themselves. (To be fair, if they're as incompetent as the perl/web programmers, that's probably for the best.)

When you switch to a blank workspace, finder becomes active by default, so switching back will focus the finder windows. There might be a setting (new as of one the updates earlier this year) pertaining to that behavior.
