    There are a couple intranet sites at my job that require IE. IETab doesn't work with either. And by doesn't work I mean firefox barfs and croaks. I don't consider that *great*.

    No. The decision affects business method patents, not software patents. Software patents will probably get a direct challeng at some point, but that point is not today.

    *BSD distros include their own libc and GPL software that links against it. OS X includes their own libc and GPL software that links against it. BeOS included their own libc and GPL software that linked against it. Microsoft SFU includes their own libc and GPL software that links against it. OpenSolaris includes their own libc and GPL software that links against it.

    Huh? Barack Obama was born August 4th. Anyhow, this isn't novel. GIMP could save images as html tables last century. It shouldn't be too much work to convert an image to an OO spreadsheet (or OOXML) with color formatted cells.
