I'm not a Windows user, but all of my friends in my networking class pirate, even the ones who are Windows enthusiasts. Of course, they all build their PCs, I suppose it is really people buying OEMs getting hosed.
i worked as a checker-bot for a year at a local grocery chain, and i can safely say that maybe only a fraction of a percent of shoppers appreciate those stupid ass cards. i actively encouraged customers to just lie on the applications, and often if they were complaining i would just hand them a card and throw away the accompanying application.
i think it is definitely an invasion of privacy if they are tracking what you are buying for any reason, and it is way beyond what they should be allowed to do.
with the amount of money i always end up owing blockbuster in late fees, this is a lot less of a hassle for me. it usually takes 5-6 days after i send a game back to them before i get my next one. no waiting for new games, either! i just got prince of persia in the mail today, and i bet if i went in to blockbuster it would be long gone.
Maybe I shouldn't have failed English or something, my nice five hour day of summer school starts bright and early right as the keynote begins. I'll be in the school library for the first hour of the day (we have to do a persuasive essay and I'm doing mine on why DRM sucks), so hopefully by then I'll be able to check Apple.com and/. to see what's up.
After the 10.1.5 update my iBook would run kinda pokey if I chose the Sleep option from the Apple menu then woke it up. It ran just fine when I closed it up and opened it. Does this fix that problem any? I think there were others with this, but hey, who knows, really.

Blue screens faster than ever.
The Mac nerd at CompUSA told me that they had never seen as many girls in the store all at once as when the iPod Minis came in.

Most killer awesome ad ever.
for every 90 they've lost, they still have 150 on their body. i love this game but i hate the people who play it. (i hate myself! angsty!)
