There is more than one form of tracking. This isn't about tracking your physical location, but your financial transactions. What you buy, when, where and from whom provides much more information about you than your location does. Hell, if they know enough about your interests and habits, they can predict where you will be when, no physical tracking required.

Most research on drugs like MDMA and THC are attempts to bypass regulations and enable recreational use of substances that are dangerous and have no medicinal value. Substances like these are classified as schedule I by the DEA because it's proven that they have no legitimate uses. I'll trust the professionals at the DEA instead of a couple of drug addicts claiming to be doing scientific research. If anything, this proves the power of the placebo effect. There was no way to administer MDMA to patients because of restrictions, therefore any improvement was due to the placebo effect. Inevitably, patients prescribed these useless drugs to supposedly treat their conditions will become addicted and move on to even more dangerous drugs like heroin. MDMA is a gateway drug, and we shouldn't be risking addiction by patients who already have mental health issues.

I feel just slightly stupider after reading this post. I hope you're going for irony, but it doesn't seem like it.

I am sure it will not be as bad as most people think. After all president is constrained by the budget set by congress. Neither can a president declare war without their approval. I am sure that if he really starts to act out then impeachment is on the table.

Still, you have to wonder about the voter disillusionment to get such a result.

Actually, the President can commit combat forces as long as he informs Congress within 90 days (or something like that). And sometime he just doesn't do it, and Congress doesn't say shit about it. Declaring war is a quaint notion that isn't really done anymore. The US has not declared war on any nation we are currently bombing.
