I think you are an idiot... I as well OWN both PS's and an XBOX.. the only thing I like about PS is the Finaly Fantasy Series. I think PS 2 sucks because it is barely even marginally better than the PS1, and because it is pretty awful on a 61" PLASMA television. My Xbox can play THPS better than my PS2 by differences so noticable that my friend (who can't tell the difference between 96 bit mp3s and 128) can tell an obvious difference. To be more nitpciky, My PS2 is younger than my Xbox, and I have had more problems with it than my Xbox. I never had a peice of electronics that could withstand soda being spilled on it like my Xbox can (damn frinds at parties where we overcrowd mine and my wife's home)and it STILL works perfectly. My damn PS2 had to be returned because it sat in the garage for two weeks while I was on vacation in Maui and my rentor (who lives in the garage) was playing it.... (I checked it out and it was just from dust damage that it stopped working.) Also, Need I mention that the $299 you pay for PS2 has only the console and one controller, no memory or anything, yet the Xbox has built-in memory (none of this $30 for 8mb of memory bullshit, 20gigs streight up) One thing I will give to the PS2 is that it's DVD remote (which costs more than the Xbox remote) has more multi-use capability (Mine actually worked with my VCR once I tinkered with it's chip a little.)
So, In all my ranting, I just want to say that specs say Xbox is better; Game Quality says the Xbox is better; Support and Longevity says the Xbox is better; the only thing PS2 has over Xbox is that it was out for about a year or two longer. Wait until Xbox has been out for as long as PS2 has been and we'll see who is more beloved in the eyes of simpletons who only purchase things because they look good or their frinds have one! (Incase you are too dumb to tell, I hate the fact that soo many companies such as FORD and AOL are still around because too many people shop solely for looks or presteige!)
I also agree on this being a way cool idea.... My only problem is the ergonomics of it. A true-flat and true-square keyboard has to be off the charts. I am a UNIX command-line dude who I still have problems even with shortening everything (damned CT) so ergonomics are way important to me.... I just can't wait until they come out with something fully holographic.... theat would be way UBER!!
