    OK folks.

Time to get out the pens.... No, our Congress persons, and representatives all have e-mails ('specially since the mail scare!), so e-mail them your concerns. Lets /. 'em and let them know our thoughts.

I noticed several posts which mentioned a "reward" for those companies who keep their high-tech jobs within our borders, and several wanting tarriffs or other obstacles for those companies moving their high-tech jobs overseas.

It seems to me that there is no such thing as a companies loyalty to their employees (and vice-versa) anymore. You are on your own to sink or swim.

Mobilize and be recognized. The middle of the road is no place to be now.

Reminds me of the days I was putting 8088 machines together. I'd open a "clone" box and read; "Happy we are you have our product bought." The installation instructions got worse from there. Usually the dip switch positions could be figgured out from the pictures! Those were the days -Paul

  7. Hard drives & 0G on RAID for Zero-G? · · Score: 1

I built a project that flew on the VomitComet 20+ times in the early 90's. One of the main goals of the project was to use off-the-shelf equipment. At the time I used a Connor hard drive. Powered it up after take-off, and power-down on landing. I accumulated nearly 2 hours 0G running the system with no problems at all. With today's drive technologies, you should have no problems. We just made sure that we used a lot of vibration absorbing material. Syntroxis ps: ball mice won't work in 0G, a trackball with a captive ball works great (there are -G's too, and I'm not sure about an optical mouse.

Ha! Elected you say!!! Bush was appointed by the Supreme Court, NOT elected. There was NO majority vote and had Gore asked for a recount of Floridia, the outcome would have been vastly different.

Let's not even consider his bro Jeb "Purging" the voter list of thousands of black voters.
