Humm.... Sounds a lot like what the RIAA is doing. Sapping money from the artist and consumers and not really contributing in anyway. Imagine that. The RIAA is a virus. It was bound to spread sooner or later.
Umm two simple words.... Pay cash. And if you are so worried about someone scanning your trash take you trash to the dump. Isn't this the same crap everyone was giving when retailers started using UPC codes. "The Government is tracking us" "Its the mark of the beast" Give me a break people.
I have a hard time believing this artical. I have 5 PC's in the house (My Laptop, Wife's Laptop, Oldest Daughters Laptop, Youngest Daughter's desktop, and the family Desktop). Both of my girls are excelling in school. I would have to agree that the problem is stemming from the people who are teaching our children how to use the computers in question. Maybe this is an attempt by the RIAA to stop possible future P2P'ers...
I am currently buying all of my music from Used CD stores. Sure it doesn't help the artists. You want to help them????? Then do away away with the RIAA. Problem solved. The artist that signed with the RIAA shouldn't have been so stupid to begin with. I think all music sales should go to the cost involved with making and distubuting the CD's for sales and the rest should go to the artists. Until this screw the RIAA and I will keep buying used CD's. Nothing illigal about it and I am not padding an over bloated company's pocket (I.E. the RIAA).
I use Windows all the time and have played around with Linux a little here and there. I have used it to know for a fact that there is nothing about Linux that is like Windows unless of course you count the fact that they both use a GUI for users to use the OS a little easier. But even then the two are really different in feel and useage. Oh wait, Isn't Linux more stable the Windows too? Yeah thats right. I use Windows and I bash it. So what of it. It's my right.
You make a good point. I guess its a good thing I use my own computer at work. Turns out my Laptop is much fast and better then anything they were going to give me.
I am about over Microsoft not doing anything about this security hole. The whole "We are going to let the Anti-virus" Stance just doesn't sit well with me. I still like Windows XP and will have to continue to use it so long as I have to for Work but I am not forced in any way to used IE and have switch to Firefox. I will continue using it until Microsoft gets off their butts and deals with this problem.
No kidding.... Its not enough that we dump enough crap on this planet, now they want to turn the moon into a garbage dump. Do they offer curb side pickup with that?!?!?!
Yet another stupid law suit by some uninformed mouth breather who should have done a little homework before attacking an already under funded institute.
I would have to agree. I watched Twister when it first came to the moives. I felt sick when I left the theater from all of the action. I now own the DVD of this movie. Its just not the same. Even with the 5.1 booming it out. No where near the same. The big screen will always win over the home entertainment. Besides where else can you go and spill a tub of pop corn and dump a 32 ounce drink and not have to clean up after yourself??? HAHA

I just have 3 letters for them. OGG. Nuff said.

It would seem that some people hate the idea that a Linux product is challaging the grasp Winsplo has on the market. ALl I can say is CRY ON puck....

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if TriStar Pictures will be filing a law suit for the copy right?!?!?!?

Glad I use Trillian!!!
