I would rather cut off all my finger than trade bash for comman.com any day. No command line completion, no command editing, no double-tab suggestions, no history. command.com is about as functional as a 5 1/4" floppy. Get real. If you think you can build a more intuitive, extensible shell, by all means do so. I for one LOVE bash.

For only being 14, you sure sound like a smart kid. Keep doing what you're doing and to hell with those morons. I deal with people like this on a daily basis. If they express an interest, I'll tell them things. But if they get that glazed over look in thier eyes that says "Your loosing me..." I just say "nevermind it's boring" try not to sound like I am insulting thier intelligence.

You're being paid to work and be productive, not punch bobo, however if thiers nothing to do.... (I spend some time reading /. at wotk) But a policy is a policy. i.e. "Any caught using company network to access pornography will be shot on site" I say scan away.

Well one minute you ruled because I didn't notice that I was replying to you, rather than the person who pasted the output from 'lynx -dump blah| grep hehe' into thier post. Secondly, being a grunt is a thankless job at best. And frankly it gets a little tiresome to hear about how all GI's and especially Grunts are losers who can't get real jobs. What is so bad about offering a college bonus for service. It's this very bonus that will push me over the top for funding so that I can have some substance to my resume' to be an IT Professional. So what if I did / didn't join for that reason. I could say that you never served because you wouldn't make it, but I don't know you so how could I make that broad generalization.

When I was (Actually I am still in for 3 more months)in the ARMY I spent most of my weekends on a Linux box trying to teach myself how to be an Uber Hacker like you, but during the duty day my job is to "Close with, and destroy my enemy" (FM 7-8 Infantry Rifle Platoon/Squad)! Gee, I am so sorry I don't have a real job. Maybe you could try living in the CIS, I hear they have *tons* of employment opportunities for IT Geeks.

I made a mistake in my last post. You don't rule you suck. I happened to follow that link to your page, then read some of your BS on that site of yours. It eventually led me to the part where you are bragging about causing trouble on /. This pointed me to the anti-army bullshit in your posts. You should be ashamed of your self. You have no idea what it means to be a soldier and I (and probably other people) deeply resent that attitude. Secondly, if you've nothing better to do than post stuff on /. just to cause problems you need to get a hobby. I think your website could use some work. Now I feel like a jack ass for stooping to this level.
