I still only use Hotmail for signing up for forms where I *know* they will be spamming whatever account I give them.

Hotmail is just too little too late for me to take it seriously.

My wife and I are having trouble conceiving now, but we would *never* consider fertility treatments.

It doesn't matter to me if a doctor uses a dead body. Its just a body. What matters is a person's soul. A body is just a temporary holding place for the soul. When a soul inhabits a body - it is precious. When a body is devoid of a soul, it is just an accumulation or chemicals.

I never could get the number of computer combinations down below about 15 - and that is just one company! Think about all the combinations that would be made for everyone in the world to buy a computer - it really is much simpler the way it is where you choose your hardware when you buy your computer.

    • Use group policies to set security settings such as IE security settings, IPSec, firewall, and event logs.
    • Use VBScripts or Shell Scripts to deploy patches to apps.

The security enhancements that Microsoft adds in Windows XP don't in and of themselves make IE more secure - they only serve to educate the user better about what is good behavior and what is bad behavior on the Internet. The Information Bar and Pop-Up Blocker are the actual facilitators of this idea.

These enhancements are totally separate from security holes. Microsoft has committed to supporting Windows 2000 with hotfixes until 2010. Read it straight from Microsoft:

Umm, you can turn off services to make a system more secure on any OS - XP, 2000, NT 4, NT 3.5, ME, 98, 95, 3.1. So, it is misleading to say that NT 4 with services disabled is more secure. You are basically turning it into a stand alone box with very little networking functionality - of course it will be more secure.

I would agree that an abortion and stem cell research don't have a whole lot in common in and of themselves. However, the foundational idea does. I believe that stem cell research and an abortion do not respect the right for a person (including a fetus, fertilized egg, etc) to not be killed by someone else without due process of law. This ties them together so that the issues are one and the same.

See, to me (and to a large number of other people), there is a huge overlap and not just political grandstanding.

So, people need to not look at this as a stand-alone issue, but rather as science being an integral part of every other issue - economic, morality, military, terrorism, education, environment, etc.
