Anybody read Cliford Stoll's book "Cuckoo's Egg"? He peppered his file system with files containing key word phrases of military interest in order to catch a Hacker.
I'm 100% behind the Tattered Cover and their fight. However, I wonder why the information is being collected in the first place and how that information is being used.
Give people a way to conveniently and securely make small payments, say 5 cents per song, and
most will actually pay for content they copy. Make sure that this money actually makes it to the
artists, including independents.
Seems like this would help reduce the amount of cabling you'd need.

Why not let users see the entire header before deciding to open email? Why not provide hooks for third party filter developers?
