I would think that a huge increase in speed with Agile Radio devices would draw business uses immediately. With business use comes price decrease, with price decrease comes mass acceptance. The problem lies in deciding whether or not this technology is viable for something like a wireless network.
What happened to the HP calculators? Did they discontinue then pre-merger, or were they dropped just recently? It does suck that the Kayak line is being killed, but I can't say I will miss anything Compaq ever made. I have never seen a nice piece of Compaq equipment, save for the iPAQ.
It seems to me what MS is doing is just WRONG.
Windows, like it or not, is the standard and children need to learn it. MS knows this and is exploiting the situation, effectively holding our already under funded school system upside down until all the change falls out. What I find worst of all is that school systems who acquire alternative OSes are being punished by Microsoft's licensing system. What are the chances of any school system trying an alternative OS if they either have to get screwed on licensing by MS or make a switchover to Linux or Mac in one fell swoop?
of certification mill drones. Until I found my new job working in the IT Dept. at the college where I go, I worked retail, but played with computers full time. I have two almost useless certifications (A+ have and CNA) and at 18 very little experience. So I begged, and begged for temp work, then made a favorable impression. I am trying to get as skilled as I can at as many things as I can, not because I want to make money, but because I enjoy it. Too many people I see (many of whom are older, and more educated) seem to be in IT for the money. It is my hope that if anything, this current job shortage should weed out all the men and women who jumped on the bandwagon and are not really very good at what they do. I find it disheartening that there are so many skilled individuals who are working at Home Depot and the like, while people who could not pick a computer out of a police lineup still manage to keep their jobs.
Did you shooked his hand when you went in for the interview?

I live in a giant bucket.
