Not in rape cases. Many a man has gone to prison where the only proof he raped the woman is the fact that his sperm was found in her and she stated that she said no to sex. Most of the time it is assumed, most likely correctly, that the woman would not lie about such a thing. They appear distraught and seem like they were indeed violated but didn't struggle due to duress. This doesn't mean that they can't lie about it though and there have been cases where years later witnesses came forward and recanted their testimony. In a married scenario where the wife might have actual reason to lie, for example she's getting ready to divorce her husband for cheating on her, well you can see where more than just her word would be needed.
Maybe not but it's assumed that if you're married that you have sex with your spouse. If you don't want to and he forces you it should take more than just going to the police and saying he raped you to convict him of rape. Now if you are estranged and he's sleeping in a hotel or his car then I'll believe you didn't agree to have sex. If you're living together in the same house I'm going to have to signs of force being used befor I believe it was rape.
Flint Electric co-operative in middle Georgia. It's actually a little under 10 cents per kilowatt hour. That's just the electrical usage there are some taxes on top of that but that probably works out to another penny or so per Kwh. According to what I read the US varies from 8 to 17 cents per Kwh depending on region. I'm sure California and New York run a lot higher than it does here. We have a lot of hydro-electric and coal plants plus Nuclear in the State. Rates are set by the State public service commission as the utilities are guaranteed a set profit. If they don't make enough we get surcharged and if they make too much we get a rebate.
I just checked my electric bill for last month. I paid around 10 cents per kwh for electricity last month. I checked what the price of electricity is in Germany and it's around 36 cents per kwh in May of 2013. If that's what wind power has done for y'all then keep it.
When you drive the price of energy up so high it causes real pain.....then you'll learn what hate is. I'm all for solar and wind if they're competitive. I'm not for tripling my electric bill for some green religious jihad.
I hate the fucking name. The sorry cock suckers used Patriotism to justify anti-patriotic legislation. If George Washington was alive today he'd gut the fucking bastards.
Man you should write this up for the blog at www.raspberrypi.org People would love to read about your experiences. The community that has risen up around the Pi is what really makes it what it is. Thousands of people learning and teaching others. It's like the excitement of the old days when I got my C64 and started learning what you could do with 8bits clocked at 1mhz and 64K of RAM. And people think the Pi is underpowered.
You are so full of shit. Everyone talks about all the free or nearly free phones with all the capabilities that don't even exist. Sure, they're free if you sign up for a few years with a carrier. You can root them and then what? They run apps! They run fucking android! They're just a fancy phone/rollodex/gameboy wannabe. I don't see anyone using one to run a NAS although I know it can be done if you've got the skills but it's a pain in the fucking ass to use for anything like that. It was meant to be a phone and that's what it does best. The Pi was meant to be tinkered with. It's not going to replace your Quad I7 windows 8 machine but then it's only $35 dollars. Show me a fucking system for $35 that competes with it.
Been seeing a lot of bad reviews on the banana pi. Particularly the SATA. I'm going to get one anyway just to see how it runs. The Raspberry Pi does well for what it is. If they don't like it they can find a lot of better ones for another 100 dollars or so.
I've seen the USB problem a couple of times but only in hard use. It's not power related because I use a powered hub and the pi runs off a 2amp cell charger (which solved a lot of problems I had originally with the cheap motorola charger.) I've been running an original Model B with the 256K memory as an XBMC media center with only a very occasional glitch. I use a high quality class 10SD card and it's been very good for watching movies. I have another, also an original B model, that I use for various projects and to tinker with. These are great little devices. For $35 it's so cheap it's almost disposable and it's powerful enough for most things. People who expect them to compete with high power systems miss the point of the design. It's cheap to encourage usage in all kinds of educational and hobby projects not to replace your quad core i7 tower. The banana pi looks interesting but it's a good bit more money and I've read a lot of reviews about bugs and glitches. I may still buy one to play around with if I can find a reputable dealer selling them for around 50 bucks. I will be ordering 4 more raspberry pi's for a new project though.
If you're running Windows I suspect everything you do while connected to the net is available to multiple 3 letter agencies. No point in paranoia, there's nowhere to run.
I too have used Linux for about 15 years now. I've done pretty much everything on a Linux box you can do on any other computer. It lacks in supported hardware and software but those limitations are easily worked around if you have technical ability. It works well enough at general web usage that I have many friends now that run Linux on older hardware they had been planning on upgrading and all of them are happy with it although I must say none of them are gamers. I do have a Mac I use for most of my video work due to the lack of stability in the video software on Linux. The "avconv vs ffmpeg" debacle and total lack of any bluray support has caused me to keep a Mac on hand. I can't see why you would use a 22" screen with a $2,500 "big machine" though. I'm using a 24" display now and with the prices I've seen lately am considering a 30" model for Black Friday, maybe two of them.
All civilization is a balancing act. Calling this totalitarianism is way off base. If he went over and beat the guys ass that would be wrong. This is just a correction.
They are so used to lying that they now are incapable of telling the truth. Even when the truth is better than the lie.

Damn sure all the Founding Fathers would be on the no fly list.

So that means the price of power in Germany has actually fallen in the last few years?

As if that matters. I hope you really aren't counting on that AC posting as being truly anonymous.
Because our freedom limits their control.

You can give me one. I'll take it off your hands.
I'll give you $25 dollars for it. That way you're only out 25 bucks.

Come on...think of the chi...uh, camels!
I'm thankful that we have PETA. Without them the level of comedic material would drop drastically.
Nah....just run for the hills.
How quaint.

Best analogy I've seen in a while. But can you do it as a car analogy?
