It's especially dangerous if they don't have a friendly administration like President Bush's that gave them a pass on the Anti-Trust conviction. Depending on which administration they get next time around they might not fare nearly as well.
You don't get it. Microsoft gets revenue for every android phone sold. I don't know why they even bother with that shitty Win7 phone. If they don't sell a damn phone they still get rich off of all the droid hardware. It's win-win-win.
I'll admit the Camry is nice. The Accord feels cheap compared to the Tugota not to mention the Beemer. I still prefer my Grand Marquis though. Nothing feels as solid as a car on a full frame. I laugh at potholes.
They're using Microsoft's version of QA testing whereby you ship a beta package to consumers and let them pay for the privilege of beta testing it for you. Then later you can ship them the fixed version. In MS's case they make you pay for the fix as well. The reason MS can carry this off is they have a near Monopoly on peecee software. Amazon is not in that position yet so the strategy isn't working near as well for them.
A friend of mine bought a nook and modded it into a very nice android tablet. I was amazed how simple it was to do it. Nice touch screen on the nook by the way. Very responsive.
The fire isn't a competitor to the iPad. It's real competition is the Nook. Personally I'd say the nook has it beat too. The touch screen on the Nook is probably it's best feature. I find it to be as responsive as the one on the iPad. The iPad is nice but is really too much for a tablet in my opinion. Too big, too expensive. Of course a lot of people don't seem to mind the price.
I'm not liking unity. The one thing I kind of like is the dock on the left side. While I could do this in Gnome2 it didn't work as well. Little else about it appeals to me. I feel like Gnome2 in Ubuntu was just about perfect. Compiz worked great and it was much faster in Ubuntu 10.10 I've been using 11.10 now since it's arrival and I'm still not happy with it so I don't think it's about "what I'm used to" anymore either. At least it's stable now though, 11.04 was pushed out too soon.
Windows7, the first time I was ever happy to see my work computer upgraded. Why? Because it meant no more Vista! I'm free, free! Thank you God and IT! The computer hasn't locked up in weeks. It's almost as good as using Linux.
I think they've been watching Microsoft rolling in the dough from all the android sales and they want in on the fun too. Why not? It's the way things are. Apple can continue to sell iPhones and make money and everyone else can make android phones and Apple can make money. It's nice to see them copying Microsoft's innovation for a change.
Don't these people understand that all music belongs to the mega music corporations? This of course includes music videos as well. They have a lawful right to profit from all music anyone anywhere makes.
No he's not. I remember how Gnome 2 was the end of Gnome way back. I have to admit that if you really love to fiddle with your Desktop it's hard to beat KDE.
Man I don't know what you're talking about and I don't think you do either. While really UI choice is up to the individual's personal prejudices I can't see where you think that windows interfaces are quicker than KDE and Gnome. I've used KDE and Gnome in various distros as well as XFCE and Enlightenment. I've never found anything anywhere that lagged like window's UI......well maybe Mac OS 9. I personally loved Ubuntu 10.10 and loathed 11.04. I'm forcing myself now to use 11.10 as Unity is mostly stable now on my hardware but really it's ugly and hard to take but it's still better than windows. I use Win 7 at work and it's better than.....Vista. Lord if I had to use that shit at home I'd seriously think about digging my A3000 out of storage.
I don't see it. Frankly what you're talking about is just smoke and mirrors designed to keep the people divided while the country is raped. Black against white, christian against atheist, and so on. Divide and conquer. I didn't say that the parties were the same, I said the people in control of those parties are the same people, the people who really run the country. Look at our current President. While I disagree with some of the things he wanted to do, I did have some hope that at least some of the better ideas that the liberals had would get implemented. Nope. We got health care reform that is a disaster, we'd have been better off with national health care than the messed up junk that was eventually passed. Then there's the war on terror. Really a war on civil rights that has continued unabated despite all the claims that Mr. Obama made during his campaign. I could go on but if you watch, all the really bad things seem to get bipartisan support. Remember, we HAD to bail out the banks and auto companies.
You're kidding right? I don't know about UK politics but in the US both parties are controlled by the same people. We get to choose between tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

You left out vibrators for dummies.
The same guys that buy the extra small trojans.
Dude that's a great web video. Hot MILF lesbians!

You are certainly correct. Apple does define done. It seems that it's customers find the definition very apt, however.

It's not even a nook killer.
The law mostly doesn't apply to congress and even when it does it mostly isn't applied to congress.
At least in Washington D.C. The Whore Capitol of the world.

Man, don't joke about that. They might think it's a good idea.
I think maybe some of the scientist types at the DOE were behind the funding.

Damn. That's brilliant.

The prices may be reasonable but the food is shitty.
