I gotta admit, I don't see what CBS is doing lumped in with MSNBC and MTV. CBS news is actually pretty decent. I'm not sure what MTV is any more and MSNBC is like the reverse image of FOX except MSNBC doesn't pretend to be balanced. Maybe he isn't aware that Dan Rather retired?

You've mostly hit the truth here. The fact is that the people who slag off on Beck are the enemy of most of his followers as well as Beck. The more these people decry him the more his fan club loves him. I know he's paranoid and wacky but when the liberal elite snap back at him practically foaming at the mouth it makes even me want to defend him. It's kind of an "enemy of my enemy" thing. I know the people that hate him also hate me. Even more so do Beck's fans. The more they attack him the stronger he'll get. I can't really stomach Beck's show even so. He's just so preachy and over the top. Even when I agree with his point he's just too much. He makes Limbaugh seem taciturn.

This is exactly true. When things go wrong with the vehicle most people freak out and do stupid things. I think that I don't because I always had piece of shit cars that were constantly breaking when I was younger and had to know how to get them off the road. My dad mentioned the brakes going out on an old jalopy he had back in the 50's and how he rode down a hedge of boxwoods on the side of the road to get it to stop. Sometimes you have to realize that slight damage to the car is preferable to death.

I've wondered that myself. Considering most of the true idiots I see on the road are mostly driving Honda Civics, that's where I'd expect to find the problem. Note I do not say Honda drivers are idiots, only that for some reason the civic attracts more than it's fair share.

Seriously though, while in Hawaii a few...hmmmm.....over a decade ago, I noticed they had all these huge windmills on Oahu. They didn't seem to be working too well so I asked about them. It seems that when they got the bright idea to put them up the didn't think about the trade winds carrying all that salt. It seems salt is very bad for machinery, to the point that the operating costs exceeded the price of the electricity they generated. So at least I hope that they've thought about this problem with offshore units. Of course, if the government is involved it's very likely that no thought at all has gone into it.

We go from one scam artist to another. Palin is not a problem for me because she holds no office. Why waste all this hatred on someone off making money doing reality shows when we have all these clowns in congress finding ways to piss away trillions of dollars? Ah well....you keep blaming FOX news and Palin for all your problems. When the country finally runs out of money I wonder what you'll do then? Also all the guys with droid phones at work are starting to notice that the guys who have iphones have systems that work smoother.
