It looks like maybe the Democrats have the issues. When you rig your primary to insure the candidate most hated by all conservative voters is guaranteed the nomination and then wonder why you lost that's called the issue of self delusion. No matter how bad Trump acted. No matter how rude and obnoxious. No matter what dirt was dug up on him. They still lost the election because they picked a bad, bad candidate and when an outsider challenged her they cheated and undercut him in any way they could. All so they could run the Queen. Well they ran her and Americans rejected her. The only people they have to blame are themselves. I'd be willing to bet there were hundred of other politicians they could have run with and won but they wanted the most corrupt one they could find that wasn't in jail at the moment.

Now they bitch about the Republicans gerry-mandering. I'm not too crazy about the process but it's not a one sided thing.

Hopefully they'll at least have enough sense to realize that they can't continue to suck everyone dry. When you take away hope you're left with a bunch of people with nothing to lose. If you have too many of those people then sooner or later they'll erupt. We're not there yet but we're headed down that road. In another decade it could start to get dire.

I'm a conservative and the Republican party isn't anymore. The worst thing to me about Obama was the fact that he wasn't even a good liberal. He pushed a lot of the bad ideas that many Republicans support. Those ideas that lobbyists pay to have shoved on the American people. I at least hoped that President Obama would try to repeal the worst of the disgustingly badly named "Patriot Act." May the cocksucker that originally called it that burn in Hell. One of the most unpatriotic things ever and one of the reasons I did not vote for Bush in 2004. Modern Republicans aren't conservatives. Conservatives don't grow government.

I have a male friend who won custody of his son after a 2 year long and expensive court fight. His ex had taken up with a guy who was running a meth lab in the house with the 5 year old boy and his mother living there. The sheriff's department raided the house and arrested everyone there including the mother. Her boyfriend manned up and covered for her claiming she didn't know the lab was there and since she had a 5 year old the prosecutor chose to buy the story. Almost 20 thousand dollars in legal fees later the boy's father got custody. He had a good attorney because it was a near thing.

Yes he did. And he destroyed it by how he used it to cram the AHCA through with no compromise. He didn't have to compromise so he rammed it in and laughed when the Republicans bitched. Then he wondered why he suddenly had to deal with a Republican majority in Congress that did their dead level best to cripple his presidency. If Trump pulls that same crap he'll suffer the same fate as Obama.

I can't see why anyone would care. The very last people I listen to about politicians are actors and musicians. If you're voting for someone because Jay-Z says so then you're imbecilic. If you do it because Ted Nugent says so you're imbecilic. You should vote for the person that most nearly reflects your beliefs in how the country should be governed and that you believe will be able to accomplish that.

I love you people. You're every bit as entertaining as the idiots who ran around screaming about Obama when he was elected. Have a little faith in the system, it's worked for over two centuries. Obama shoved bad shit through when first elected and the backlash was he had to work with a Republican majority in Congress. If Trump starts going all right wing he'll wind up drowning in Democrats. I expect to see him undo the worst of Obama's policies and then hopefully he'll sit down with ALL of Congress and try to work on things. If not, he'll end up in a war with the other side just like Obama.
