I think the idea is that it ges restricted by way of commercial applications which get so much more exposure than free ones, that the vast majority of the population will be ignorant of the free torrent sector for all practical purposes.

For those in the know, you(we) have never had a problem getting the information/files we want. This is newsworthy because we're at what appears to be a possible historical/policy juncture where anyone/everyone has that same ability, not just an esoteric few.

Too bad TimeSplitters was crap compared to any actual Rare product. It had very very weak multiplayer options in comparison. And the concept/theme was so half-baked it wasn't even funny. I am really, really bent out of shape over this. The Perfect Dark sequel would have been the best game of all time.

Damnit. Perfect Dark is for shit without Rareware. In much the same way that the bond sequel was crap once EA bought the rights. POOPIE!

I never said anything about simulating the universe accurately. But you did, silly. What I am talking about is simulating something (not the universe) so that it is visually indistiguishable from reality.

Wow. So in ten years we come this far. How long until our PC sims are no longer visually distinguishable from reality? Ten, Five years?

From a philosophical point of view, there's always a way. It's just challenging enough that not everyone can do it.

Check out the "red line theory"...
