I happen to live in Sarasota FL, less than 2 miles from the building where Infinium Labs has its main office. A while back (around the time the whole H-OCP vs Infinium thing started) I went by the building with my camera and snapped some pics.
Details:
The office is located on the 3rd floor of the Center Pointe building, which is in central Sarasota, not far from downtown (located at the corner of US 301 and Main St.).
Trivia item: the law firm that Infinium Labs uses takes up the top 2 floors of this building. Kinda convenient eh ? (see inf4.jpg) Not shown: the big glow in the dark/changes color sign that is on the top west side of the building. Said sign cost US$ 300,000 according to rumor.

According to an article on GamersMark.com, the corporate HQ for Infinium is in downtown Sarasota, Florida.
Also, a link provided from an earlier/. article shows that Mr. Roberts lives on Longboat Key, which is also in Sarasota County (link is in Roblimo's story).
The point: I live in Sarasota. I could drive to Infinium's HQ in less than 5 minutes, his house in about 15... What do I get for posting snapshots ?:)
Ok, one of the links provided by the NewsForge story indicates that Mr. Roberts lives and/or owns property on Longboat Key. Well, I live in Sarasota, which is right next to LBK (as the locals call it).
That island is so saturated with rich people, its scary. I got bored one night and checked out LBK via census.gov. Less than 20k full time residents, 97% white, 50-60% over 65 years old, and the island has a bigger taxable value than the city of Bradenton, which has over 51k people.
(And for a good laugh, hit www.longboatobserver.com and search for "Cops Corner". You too can see what the people on LBK call the police for.. "June 14 2002 4:49 p.m. -- 3400 block Bayou Sound. Property lost. Subject is missing hearing aid worth $5,300.")
And if anyone wants 'em, I could be taking pictures of this guys house in less than 20 minutes:)
I'm not kidding. I could drive to the address listed in WHOIS for darktech.org in less than 5 minutes. Wow.:) do a whois on mreboy.com (which I currently own) and compare that address with the one for darktech if you don't believe me. Maybe I should go over just to say "Hi!":)
ObSortaOnTopic: Courts of Wisdom BBS - 941-927-3313. Existed here in Sarasota for over 3 years. 6 lines of CNet on a souped up Amiga 2000. I spent many a night re-dialing that phone number in order to get on. Even bought my 1st 14.4 modem from the sysop (and I still have said external SupraFAX modem).
