Clearly, Microsoft is a prime reason for the ecomomic downturn. Companies have to spend money each and every year for license fees of Microsoft software when they could be saving money by using Linux/BSD and Open Source non-license fee based software (yes, they could have done this in the 90's). The real software market isn't in 100's of billions it is in the lower ten's of billions. Microsoft's ecomomic model has skewed the market and this is hastening the current collapse.
That is because like most software running windows they still use DOS programming techniques. I wouldn't trust quicken software as far as you could throw it because it keeps transactions in memory and if the files go away, well so does your data.
I think this is because egroups is qmail based and qmail sends each mail as a seperate connection so that bounces and other email related things can be handled correctly.

Yes, and I'm trying to get them to have best buy.com removed from their online program because they are not following the rules.
I bet if these guys were to analyize birth they would come to the conclusion that children are very rare. Yet there are already 6 billion of us.
Ah science. You got to love it.
Also, he is ignoring Open Source projects that start out to be secure code in the first place ie. qmail,djbdns...
The thing about open soure is we have a choice. More then likely Windows users don't.
Commercials like those stupid "it's the static" cell phone commericals? I hate digital cell phones. At least with an analog I can here the person or somewhat watch the program. With digital I won't see anything under marginal signal conditions just like I can't here who I'm talking to with marginal digital cell phone connections.
I already see problems while watching "Enterprise" on the local UPN station and there digital feed unsyncs.
They need to stop there Windows is the only way and start making software for all operating systems. I just don't get why they ignore alternative revenue streams. They owe it to there share holders (the non-employee ones) to make software and sell no matter what the OS.

I just love this quote.

I expect it to write it to file and not trash the files it the unexpectedly go away. If I kill my gnumeric session it doesn't trash my files.

Why get a legal opinion? If you were infriging Microsoft would have sued you by now.
They have plenty of money. Here is a good cause. Let them pay for it.
Mozilla is open source, why don't you help fix it?

When it reaches that version then we will have reached nirvana.
