Windows is targeted by the Virii makers due to the abundance of victims available. Sure linux/Mac OS/etc. may be Virus free, but when only 5% of desktop (estimate) users use these 'More secure' Operating Systems, what would be the benefit of attacking this minority?
Isnt the virus author trying to affect as many people as possible??

I found that a small proggie called Kauffman Mail Warrior is pretty much what i need, there are plenty of 'bloatware-free' mail clients out there, try looking in the email section of Tucows and i am sure there will be something to suit your tastes...
In my perception, Adobe LiveMotion 2 is in direct competition with Flash as it is designed for the same use that the MacroMedia product is:)
not many people know of LiveMotion as Flash really is the superior (in my eyes) product having been tried and tested, and generally accepted by the public.

Is this because it has a 700mhz(or was it 633mhz) Pentium III in it ?
You are comparing this to the 295Mhz Samsung custom built processor that the PS2 runs on. Well surely I am ont the only person that realises that the Mhz of the processor doesnt mean too much.
The customised chip is far more advanced, and is specifically made for the tasks that the PS2 needs to make it run sweetly..
I seriously thought that people on here would be aware of the fact that you cant rely on the mhz rating, It goes back to the Intel pentium 4 / AMD Athlon XP argument.
If the XBox had a 2.0Ghz Pentium 4 in it, and the PS2 had an Athlon XP clocked at 1.66Ghz (2100+ in amd PR ratings i believe) would you immediately say that the X-Box was better due to the increased mhz ??

The Radeon 8500 is leaps and bounds better than the 7500, even in AiW form.
THe 7500 is actually based on the Old radeon chip, but with a 0.15 micron build process that allows higher clock speeds.
As for the DV, i assumed that the DV was the way that they distinguished the standard 8500 from the AiW. I.E, I thought that the all-in-wonder WAS the DV.
If you are looking for performance Difference between the 8500 AiW and the 7500 AiW, I have to say that the difference is quite large.
The 8500 AiW is better than the geforce 3 series in my opinion, and with all the features, a perfect all round card:).
If anyone can indeed clarify the DV thingy, I also would like to be put right...
